The Avengers had the coolest posters. These are by far the cream of the crop in my opinion. They really use the color palette of each individual hero well. My favourite would probably be the Thor one because of how intense it looks but the Hulk’s is a close second!

Oh Lord, have fallen off the grid again thanks to exams…Just two more to go, man, just two more, then I’m free for another year. Anyway aside from the fact my script for my History Higher is probably unreadable thanks to it being saturated with my tears, my academic career isn’t a complete trainwreck just yet.
Cool stuff’s been happening too. A swallow flew into our sunroom the other day, which was pretty exciting, I suppose considering I caught it and then released it back into the wild like a hero of nature. *gleams*
Also went to see Dara O’Brian at the Playhouse in Edinburgh last night, and got a seat upgrade so that they could make the front rows look more full since it was being filmed for DVD. Fantastic night (including a 3-course dinner plus coffee…may have overdone it) other than the awkward moment when a guy with a massive camera comes and hovers next to you and you have to mentally tell him to fuck off before he turns that monstrosity in your direction.
Also Eurovision today!!! It’s so crap it’s good! And the BAFTAs tomorrow!
And now I’ll get back to reblogging because God forbid I should ever post anything personal on my blog :B
Many people go out of their way to avoid using cramped airplane bathrooms, but we just discovered someone who seeks them out for awesomely creative purposes:
To pass the time during long flights, artist Nina Katchadourian goes to the lavatory, adorns herself in tissue paper costume, and creates hilarious self-portrait photos in the style of Flemish Renaissance paintings. She calls the series Seat Assignment: Lavatory Self-Portraits in the Flemish Style:
While in the lavatory on a domestic flight in March 2010, I spontaneously put a tissue paper toilet cover seat cover over my head and took a picture in the mirror. The image evoked 15th-century Flemish portraiture. I decided to add more images made in this mode and planned to take advantage of a long-haul flight from San Francisco to Auckland, guessing that there were likely to be long periods of time when no one was using the lavatory on the 14-hour flight. I made several forays to the bathroom from my aisle seat, and by the time we landed I had a large group of new photographs entitled Lavatory Self-Portraits in the Flemish Style.
